1. LOG IN
The web addresses are http://online.stglobe.com/ and http://online.specialtours.gr/ where the following form appears: Login Page Image
Here you enter the user name and password which are unique and refer only to your company. Also if you wish you can ask us to change them anytime you believe it is necessary.
2. MAIN MENU
After the username and password enter the page you see is the following: Main Page Image
Let's see each one of the fields which are at the left of the page separately and what they do.

Find PNR
Find PNR
The fastest way to retreive a PNR. Just enter the PNR click on magnifier. If the PNR code is correct and you have access to view it, you are tranfered to PNR View page.

From this field you can make the most main ST-Online functions:

Mail Q
By chosing this, the unread messages regarding your reservations from SPECIAL TOURS Reservation Dept. appear. You should check it often, as you will receive important information through this. The ST-Online checks for new messages automatically, every one minute.

Currency Converter
Currency Converter
The ST-Online is daily updated with currencies. Here you can enter and check these currencies and also make the necessary conversions.
Click button on any line (it works both ways) in order to set the currency you wish to transform. The following screen will appear:

Click the currency you wish to be transformed, then click second line button and the same currency list screen will appear. This time choose the currency in which the amount of the first chosen currency you wish to be transformed to. Since you have chosen the currencies, you add the amount you wish to transform in any section and you automatically receive the converted amount to the other section.
3. NEW BOOKING
Here you can see the criteria you can use in order to search for availability. New Booking

More Options *
If you don't know in advance the hotel and you left the relevant section empty, then you can define some characteristics you wish to, in order ST-Online to find the hotel group based on them. This can be made as follows:
Click on button MORE OPTIONS. The following box Hotel Facilities will appear. It can be hided again with HIDE OPTIONS but remains open while you have checked even one criteria.
More Options
Here you can ask ST-Online to filter and appear a hotel list based on:
ATTENTION: In case of choosing over one of the facilities, the hotels appeared will be only the ones that fulfill ALL the chosen facilities (i.e. choosing garage & parking will return hotels that have BOTH garage AND parking). With the above three steps you give to STOnline the proper information in order to bring you the hotels that correspond in specific requirements - wishes of your client.


While all the above steps will be completed you can click on button SEARCH PRICES & AVAILABILITY in order to see the results.

The following page displays the results of your search criteria. It is grouped by availability and sorted by price. So, if you cannot see a hotel in the top of the results, you may find it in the later pages where the non-available hotels are displayed. You can also change the sorting method using the available option in the corresponding drop down list, however the grouping by available/non-available still remains.
Search Results
You can check for each hotel the following: As you can see up to here the system shows you on each hotel only the lowest possible rate according to your choice. More detailed information about rates, room types and cancellation policy are available for your reference in the next tab "Hotel Information"
On this point we can check the possible room types with more details about rates and cancellation policy by clicking to one of the above links. A screen like the following one appears:
Hotel Results
The new ST-Online gives you the opportunity to check all available rates in all possible special room types, even all available rates for the same room type. Cancellation policy with specific cancellation fee is also provided in each room rate.
Next step is click on Book It (available) or Request It (on request).
In the next screen ST-Online will ask for more details giving you the following form:
Name List
Besides the Passenger/Room List field, there is also the "Booking Confirmation" which represents your booking's details one step before creating it. Due to the dynamic rates and availabilities of our system, to this field you will be notified with red colour about any changes on the reservation elements as they appeared to your previous step on searching results(i.e. the cancelation policy).

In case you are within hotel's "Cancelation Policy", the system asks you for your final acceptance that no cancelation allowed in order to proceed to "Create Booking".

Also in this form you can mark a booking as VIP, or you will be notified in case the booking has to be VIP.
Immediate Invoice
If you agree with the booking you are about to add just click on "Create Booking".
PLEASE NOTE: In "New Booking" procedure you can always choose quickly any tab you like (Booking Criteria, Search Results, Hotel Information or Pax Information) wherever you are before finally create the booking, in order to change your booking criteria or select another hotel/room rate.
After form validation your booking is going to be created and the system transmits you in the PNR View tab of the Booking List page, displaying the booking you just created.
4. BOOKING LIST
The choice BOOKING LIST is the archive of your reservations with SPECIAL TOURS WHOLESALERS® Ltd. Here you can find the reservations of which you don't remember the PNR.
By clicking on BOOKING LIST choice from the MAIN MENU a reservation list like follows will appear: Booking List
This list can be sorted by any criteria, depending on which one you choose by click on each column title. This could be by Reference, Type, Status, Option, Date In or Leader Name.

Each one of the PNRs has a button VIEW on the right. By clicking it you wil be redirected in the "PNR View" tab.

As you can see, some of the VIEW buttons could be orange. It means that in the specific PNR some changes applied for which you are not informed yet. You will have to enter these in order to see the changes.
For example, you might have made a reservation which is status ON REQUEST. When this booking become CONFIRMED or ADVISED, then the button VIEW will be orange till the moment you will enter the reservation and see the update.

Within the "Criteria" tab you can choose several criteria for your bookings' search such as Counter, Service Status, Leader name or even a keyword you probably entered in Memo.
Book list criteria
In case you don't remember the PNR and you need the ST-Online to find the specific reservation, it asks you to give some details in order to make the search easy.
You can give only one of the details, for example LEADER name or even make a combination. For example OPTION DATE, DATE IN, DATE CREATED, a free text you entered on reservation MEMO KEY or SERVICE STATUS. Also from here your office administrator can choose the bookings of your office filtered by user (COUNTER), when there is more than one.

In SERVICE STATUS there are 4 categories from where you can choose:
Choosing "SET AS DEFAULT" will save the present criteria as default so every time you login to the system and view Booking List, it is selected automaticaly. Choosing "GET DEFAULTS" retrieves the saved criteria without login out of the system.

View Deadlines
With this choice only the reservations with option at the present day will appear.

View Changes
Only the changed PNR which you did not check yet appear and the "View" button is orange.

Voucher Dates
You can make a search within a voucher issue date range.

PNR Information
PNR Header
It contains PNR information as for example the booking Ref. which is the ID of each booking. Another very important element is the OPTION DATE given when the reservation is confirmed and refers to the last date you can issue voucher and so reconfirm the reservation or the last date you can cancel without fees.

Service List
Here you can see the services containing in the specific PNR. This example has one service. In each service regarding hotel there are red buttons that allow you to interfere with your booking.

Here you can see detailed analysis of the net rate regarding every PNR service as well as the total charge to you. Again you can add your profit for as-you-type automatic calculation of the amount you wish to charge to your client.

Passenger list
Passenger list
You see the names included in each PNR. Here you have the option to change or add new names (maximum total of 9 in each PNR).

MailQ
Through MailQ you can communicate with the counter who is in charge of your reservation. By clicking the button "New Mail", writing your text and choosing "SEND", your message will be transmitted and read by the reservations.

You have to check often the ST-Online mail box as through this you receive information regarding your reservations.

5. HOTEL INFO
Hotel selection
In this form by filling the fields Country, City, Hotel and clicking on button VIEW HOTEL INFO, a page like the following will appear that will give you all the information regarding the chosen hotel. You can also print this page and give it to your client.

You can choose Photo Gallery to see the hotel photos
Hotel gallery
You can choose Show Map to see the location of the hotel in the map that will appear below the hotel info. At the hotels where there is no such information yet, you will not even see the related map icon as active. The hotel list is updated with this kind of information every day by us.

On the map there are some numbered marking in blue color. Those represent other hotel in the area, and the number is their star category. By clicking on any given marking you can read the hotel information
6. CoAGENTS
From this field you can handle your co-agents in case we have created an interface for your office (for further information kindly contact our Sales Dept.).

7. GROUPS
For Group reservations you can fill the following form which is sent to the Group Dept. of our office.

8. PACKAGE OFFERS
With this option you open the page that hosts our packages.
Packages
You can click on each destination in order to open detailed rate tarrif with all the hotels that participate in our packages.
9. SETTINGS
This is a very useful tool for the user of ST-Online as it gives him/her many options mostly on how the online environment should appear to the user or the client. All settings here are saved per user account, not per agent. In case there are more than one users in an office, each one could have different settings.

After finish editing, click on "Update Settings" button to update your profile.
